Are My Clients Satisfied?

Are My Clients Satisfied

Now that you have closed the deal what do you do next?  Many agents reward themselves with a nice dinner, update their database, and move on to the next sale.  Realtors send marketing information to these clients, but they rarely if ever have any real communication after the cosing. They never ask, "Are my clients satisfied?"  This is a monumental mistake that many agents never realize they have made.

The most important thing that an agent can do after closing a sale is to ask for feedback from their client.  Asking for feedback can be difficult.  The results may be disconcerting or they may be inspiring; either way your business will benefit.

The following tips will help you make sure that your clients are satisfied:

  1. Learn from customer surveys.  Nothing can replace customers telling you how they like to be treated, what you are doing right and what could be done better.  It is a wonderful way to constantly improve your service.
  2. Use surveys as a marketing tool.  Clients will sense that you are in a quest for improvement.  Your customers don't expect perfection; they want quality.  Additionally, surveys are a way to get in front of your customers without attempting to sell them anything.
  3. Don't forget to respond to client input by making changes.  If you really want to "wow" your customers, let them know that you heard them.  Implement what they want.  If it can be done, do it!  If it can't, let them know that you heard them and what you CAN do.
  4. Don't be afraid of what you will hear.  Many companies don't want to do surveys because they are afraid of what their customers are going t say.  Expect some negative comments and consider them as gifts that will help you become a better agent.
  5. Be brief with your surveys.  Your customers will respond more to a brief, easily-responded-to questions.

In order to succeed, real estate agents need to change depending on what their client base wants.  The details that clients provide to you will help you improve every level of service so that you can keep your clients coming back again and again.  They will also send more referral business your way.

Best Agent Business believes in this idea whole-heartedly.  We contacted real estate clients and asked them about their experiences buying or selling homes.  This information was compiled into a PDF publication and distributed for free to our clients by our team of real estate virtual assistants.  We believe that we are successful if our clients are successful.
